 Lynda Velanovich, R. D.
Registered Dietitian

 

Qualifications:  Lynda is a Registered Dietitian and provides personal nutritional consultation and education.  She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science, Dietetics.  She completed her Dietetic Internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  She is also a member of the American Dietetic Association.  She has extensive experience with providing motivational nutrition education regarding weight management.

Philosophy:  Lynda believes that maximizing good health is a life style choice.  Obtaining and maintaining a healthy weight can be very difficult but improvement in quality of life is worth it!  Having a healthy relationship with food, a good support system, regular exercise, and a positive attitude are keys to reaching one's goal.  Believing in the goal is the best step towards achieving it.  Lynda's draws on her own experiences with food preparation and physical activity/hobbies to help others find healthy ways to manage their weight.



 Danielle St.Angelo, R.D.

Registered Dietitian

Qualifications: Danielle is a Registered Dietitian and has a wide range of experience in the dietetics field including: acute care, long term care and management. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and completed her dietetic program through Wayne State University in 2003. Danielle also received a Certification of Training in Adult Weight Management in 2006. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Michigan Dietetic Association and South Eastern Dietetic Association.

Philosophy: Everything in moderation and variety, along with exercise, is key to living a healthier, longer and happier life. Everyday is another opportunity to make these changes happen. It is never too late to commit to healthy living habits, starting with small changes and focusing on the big picture: your health.
